Our teaching staff are available by appointment to discuss your tamariki learning throughout the year. If you have any questions or wonderings, we encourage you to get in touch and we can discuss these together.
Term One.
Beginning of the year: Whanau meeting held to set goals for the year and share information.
Real time learning through Spotlight found in your School App. We encourage you to add to the learning conversation by commenting on the evidence shared. Two pieces of evidence for reading, writing and mathematics will be shared during term 1.
Term Two.
Two pieces of evidence for reading, writing and mathematics will be shared during Term 2. Total of 12 pieces of evidence will be present in Spotlight by the end of Term 2.
Mid-year Report: Week 10, Term 2 displaying most recently achieved evidence including whanau comments and next learning steps.
Term Three.
Whanau-Tamariki-Kaiako interviews held in week one of Term 3. bookings will be available online.
Two pieces of evidence for reading, writing and mathematics will be shared during Term 3. Total of 18 pieces of evidence will be present in Spotlight by the end of Term 3.
Term Four.
Two pieces of evidence for reading, writing and mathematics will be shared during Term 4. Total of 24 pieces of evidence will be present in Spotlight by the end of Term 4.
End of year report in Week 8, Term 4. Whanau-Tamariki-Kaiako available to discuss report further.
